Review summary

Lots of sea days with nothing to do except relax, be pampered and enjoy.

Poor. The website said all Royal Caribbean ships sailed from one terminal, but when we got there our ship was leaving from a different one. Zero communication or assistance. Too far to walk. They wanted us to fill in COVID-19 form for Belgium but didn’t have the info to available. Spent 90 minutes outside in Miami heat. Finally we boarded without managing to complete the forms.

Stage shows were basic, but entertaining. Definitely not up to the Norwegian or Disney show we are used to. Main bar pianist was poor, but the environment and quizzes were frequent and fun.

Don’t book all Speciality Dinners. Small selection of restaurants (3) and one of them was exclusively seafood (Japanese).

Get a taxi to Bruges and enjoy! Started with a horse and cart ride through the town. Then, We went to a brewery and had a beer by the canal and took a boat ride on the canal. A relaxing and throughly enjoyable day.

Funchal, Madeira

We took the cable car up the mountain and the sled down. Wonderful. Advice: don’t use the cruise bus, dropped us off a mile from the center, we still had to get a taxi.
