Review summary
The ship itself is beautiful - the staff were great and the speciality restaurants were outstanding. The shows were okay - some better than others. Although it was pleasant to not fly to our port in Boston, taking a cruise this time of the year (late October) is not advisable. The weather going over was very cold and our second day in Bermuda was cloudy - we were glad our snorkeling excursion was cancelled - it would have been too cold to swim. Horsebay beach was the best, as advised by other previous reviewers. We tendered into Hamilton, which took over an hour each way and we lost precious beach time b/c of this (especially when we waited for the last tender for at least a half hour). I have been on other cruises that tender and it never was so time consuming as this so I think it could have been prevented.Ports of call
Pros: The ship itself is gorgeous - not too big and overcrowded like the newer superliners.
Cons: The destination for this time of the year - Bermuda was not warm enough, especially the first day at sea when it was too cold to be outside.
