Review summary

We saved for several years for this cruise and it was totally worth it. The Jewel of the Seas is a lovely ship. It is laid out a little differently than the other Royal Caribbean ships we have been on. All of the ports of call were execellent. Was a little disappoint with St. Petersburg, Russia. They like the travelers money, but the tour guides seemed a little "put out" that we were there. Not a friendly City at all. But the rest was really AWESOME!

The Viking Heritage tour was great! Saw some of the City, the museum and went to an outdoor museum where they have preserved the old viking houses.

Don't take a tour. Take the shuttle into the old town. This port best seen by walking on your own. What a wonderful country. They are very proud of what they have accomplished since 1991 after Russia gave them their freedon.
Don't Miss: MUST WALK AROUND THE TOWN ON YOUR OWN - Absoulutely wonderful!

St. Petersburg, Russian Federation
