Review summary

We loved leaving from Boston and not having to fly to go on a cruise. Wish we could have stayed longer in Bermuda. Like a 7 day cruise. This was our 7th cruise with the Royal Caribbean Cruise line. We just love them and have never been disappointed. We have sailed on the larger ships like the Mariner of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Radiance etc. The Jewel of the Seas was just as good as the larger cruise ships we have been on. My husband and I were very impressed with the Vacation outlet planning this cruise. You did a wonderful job. The bottle of wine and glasses in the room, the little desserts, and the vacationoutlet gift bag was a nice touch.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service was better on this cruise, than the Voyager of the Seas. The variety of food was about the same as the other Royal Caribbean ships. The dining times worked out fine. Always like to stay on the top dining room on the ship, but it was taken up by some large group we were told. We have not been disippointed yet.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the entertainment and activities. My husband won the best chicken legs in the leg contest

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
At the end of the cruise the children went on stage and performed. It was cute!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We can't say enough about the ships staff. The best we ever had and we tip them extra for going above and beyond.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship size was great, the only thing I missed was the skating shows on the larger ships. Entertainment was awesome. The adult pool area was outstanding. The accessibility on the ship was also good. The ship was very clean. Cleaner than the Voyager of the Seas cruise we went on in Europe last year.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size of the room for the 10th floor, comparing it to the Radiance of the Sea was smaller even though we had a balcony room. Condition of the stateroom was kept cleaner than the Voyager of the Seas. Our location was in the front of the ship and we felt a lot more movement when the water was rough. That was our first time up front and next time we will stay in the middle of the ship.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
That was our second time visiting Bermuda. A must see is the Horseshoe Bay beach. We took a taxi cab tour for 4 hours and saw the whole island. Did't stop at a restaurant.
Don't Miss: It was a nice place and you could take a ferry or bus different places.

Pros: Just everything, we love to cruise on Royal Caribbean lines

Cons: Not staying long enough in Bermuda so we could spend time on the beach and would like to have gone a few weeks eariler because there were no beach chairs to rent they were closed.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!
