Review summary

We loved everything about this cruise. We have been to Bermuda before (3 times cruising plus 2 other times). On our other cruises, we docked in St. George's so it was nice to be at the other end of the island (Dockyard). The ship was absolutely beautiful - about 2.5 years old, but looks brand new. We had an inside cabin on deck 3 (one of the least expensive). The layout of the cabin was amazing. There was so much storage. The closet was twice as large as other ships we've been on (8 other cruises). Space was even utilized behind the mirror over the desk/dresser and behind the mirror in the bathroom. The shower was perfect! It was rounded with sliding doors so no curtain to stick to. The staff from cabin steward to wait staff were amazing. Even the head waiter was awesome. I have never been on a cruise where the head waiter actually helped the wait staff. Usually they just stand by and watch them, and then when it's time for tips they show up! This head waiter was so personable. She took the shells of our lobster and shrimp, opened and served our wine, and even helped a fellow guest who had special diet requirements. Vacation Outlet charted the whole ship and really provided some extras. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a plate of goodies (chocolate covered strawberries and cookies/sweets). Then later that night we received a travel backpack filled with t-shirts and a luggage tag. I would recommend this ship or Vacation Outlet to anyone.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
No complaints whatsoever . Everything was delicious. We had main (early) seating, and loved that breakfast and lunch were open seating, so we didn't have to go to breakfast at 7:00 a.m. if we didn't want to.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Although we did not go to many shows, there was a wide variety of entertainment offered and what we saw was great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was great. Coffee bar staff had your coffee ready before you ordered if you were a regular customer. As mentioned previously, our head waiter was awesome.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Extremely clean ship. The Schooner bar and Safari lounge were so pretty. Actually, the decor on the whole ship was outstanding. The coffee bar was yummy, and you could even choose a free pastry or cookies to go with your cappocino. The martini bar was neat too.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As stated previously, the cabin was awesome. It was small like other cabins (we had the cheapest cabin-not in it enough to spend more). The storage was unbelievable. Huge closet. Great shower with sliding doors. Very pretty decor. AC/heat worked great - very comfortable.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Within walking distance of shopping, dolphin quest, water sports, and a small beach. Ferry and bus transportation available right by the ship. Only a 20-minute ferry ride to Hamilton.
Don't Miss: Great rum swizzles at the Pirate's Landing!

Pros: Beautiful ship.

Cons: Only a few slot machines in the casino were nonsmoking. Would have been nice to have some table games that were nonsmoking.
