Review summary
WE RECENTLY CRUISED ON A DIFFERENT LINE THEN WHAT WE HAVE USED FOR OUR PREVIOUS SIX CRUISES. JEWEL OF THE SEA, RCL. ONE OF THE ATTRATIVE POINTS OF THIS TRIP WAS THAT WE DIDNT HAVE TO TRAVEL TO NEW YORK, BUT ONLY TO BOSTON TO DEPART FOR OUR TRIP. THE SHIP IS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD, QUITE LOVELY. HOWEVER WE DID FIND IT A BIT CONGESTED. NOT AS OPEN AS I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT. THE TWO SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS ARE EXCELLANT. WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY. AND THE SHIPS RESTAURANTS ARE EQUALLY AS GOOD. WHAT WE LIKE THE MOST ON OUR TRIPS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK. FROM ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD, MANY STORIES TO TELL. A LIVING HISTORY LESSON. WE TAKE A CRUISE EVERY SPRING, THIS WAS OUR FIRST FALL TRIP. JUST AS NICE. MAYBE EVEN MORE SO, NOT SO HOT AS TO TIRE YOU OUT. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS LINE, TIME OF YEAR TO CRUISE AND DESTINATION TO FRIENDS.Ship experiences

Pros: NEW SHIP, DIFFERENT "LINE" FROM WHAT WE HAVE CRUISED IN THE PAST, WENT TO OUR FAVORITE AREA IN THE WORLD. BERMUDA. LEFT FROM BOSTON WHICH IS CLOSE TO HOME.
Cons: ROUGH WATERS COMING HOME , ONLY FOR ONE DAY. NOT AS MANY SPECIALTIY RESAURANTS ON BOARD AS OTHER SHIPS. FOUND THIS "SHIP" TO BE A BIT DISORGANIZED.
Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!
