Review summary

Overall a most enjoyable cruise, seen some whales about 40, met some very nice people, who we will stay in contact with, even the singer guitar/pianist, I said he can park on my drive when he goes to the football/soccer.

Embarkation

Arrived at Southampton & was on board within 20 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Probably the nicest food we've ever had in 33 cruises, I don't do pictures ,because we all know what burgers, chicken, fries, steak, lobster, etc etc etc look like

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Most of the day time activities were for children & there were only 2 walking toddlers & 1 baby, I don't get the egg drop, giant Jenga, paper darts, hoopla, etc that's stuff you do at children's parties, we are not children, come on Princess you can do better than that.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Most of the evening entertainment was pretty decent, Asian Soul were amazing, lead singer Sandra was asking for requests & did I give her a challenge, took a few days for her to learn it, & boy oh boy she nailed it, the movie in my mind from Miss Saigon, she got a standing ovation for about 3 to 4 minutes, Freddie Mercury tribute did nothing for me, Dan Downey was a really good singer, mostly country, Jon Williams in Crooners was very good, again asked for requests, liked a little banter, comedians & hypnotist were awful, so we walked out of the theatre, other entertainment was there if you like jazz/blues.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Had a bit of trouble getting the drink I drink which is a John Smiths or Boddingtons bitter, but bar staff did got out of their way to get me some & left it to one side for me, probably my fault be British 10/10 for staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Took a few days to get hand towels, shower mat & sanitary bags, so my wife went to public toilets & got them from there, gave up asking cabin steward daily, & I'm certainly not going to complain over these issues, & see him getting disaplinned.
