Review summary

Worst Alaskan cruise ever. Didn’t visit the main port of Juneau, which was where we had planned excursions. They added an additional port in Canada. You can say we were on a Canada cruise and that wasn’t what I chose. Very disappointed won’t sail Princess again.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Horrible arrived thinking that having priority embarkation would make a difference it doesn’t on Princess we were just put in with the masses nothing like other cruise ships we’ve cruised

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was just ok we dined in one of the main dining rooms because we had Club Class and I was surprised read reviews that stated how great it was. Tried the buffet with friends it was horrible. Also bought beverage packages and the alcohol seemed to be watered down

Sabatini's

4 out of 5

The service was excellent the food was ok

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
We like to work out so we tried the Fitness center it was like a closet no view and the machines were so close together I felt uncomfortable

Entertainment

Didn’t want to waste my time

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The service was ok guess it was a little challenging given the fact that a lot of people were upset about the delay and change in itinerary. I think Princess did a poor job of only giving a $100 on board credit and offering a 15% discount on a future cruise for this change

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship seemed clean and maintained the layout as I stated was a little lacking fitness center stuck on a lower level small as a closet and no view

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It was just ok it was a Club Class Mini Suite

Ship tip

Don’t have any expectations you’ll be disappointed

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

3 out of 5
The port was large had to do quite a bit of walking

Juneau, Alaska Did not visit port

Princess changed the itinerary due to problems with the ship we spent over 12 hours at the port and I felt we should have been given the choice to get of and not continue after they decided to not go to Juneau

Ketchikan, Alaska

2 out of 5
Didn’t enjoy this port had a poor experience at a local restaurant waited over 20 min for silverware and over 30 min for food decided to leave was told they were short on help

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
This experience was beyond belief the video on the tv stated to meet at one area while the stateroom printout stated to meet some where else then when we asked the crew we were told several different things and I purposely chose a Club Class Mini Suite for the priority embarking and disembarking which I didn’t receive
