Ship has been revamped and it seems to favor the people with suites and high end cabins.
Public address system is not very good, hard to understand. We miss the happy hour at Crooners.

we were not pleased with MDR so we did not return. Buffet was good and Sabbatinis was excellent. ( it was my birthday so I got a free dinner)

Room steward Cyrus was wonderful, all stewards were friendly. Zumba instructor Lucinda was fun and always reminded us of our safety. Casino mgr Heidi was totally charming and helpful.
John Loney pop choir, probably along with Lucinda. the most overworked people on ship
The service staff in buffet were good BUT Pizza guy had an attitude. He was one of the few that were sarcastic.

beds a little too soft for us, linens were nice. Kept clean and clean smelling. Shower is so tiny.
Ship tip
the fitness center is on the 5th floor and there are no facilities like showers etc. Spa has them but you must pay for services which are overpriced and end with a hard sell.
We did the hop on hop off bus, with shuttle provided by Princess. The vendors were so aggressive that you could not stand still to admire the city without being swamped. The fortress was not an easy climb especially in the heat.
Took an excursion from the pier, van of 8 people driven by Big Jim. Tour of city, banana plantation, sloths and boat ride on river, stopped at fruit stand and later a beach restaurant.
Hubby took excursion to Stingray encounter and snorkel. Enjoyed it
I met him in town, which was crowded with 4 other ships in town. We had visited this island before.
it took half an hour once we left the ship- walk off group one. there had been a medical emergency so our 7:30 time was delayed. When people are assembled in public areas, there is alot of confusion. We all had our luggage and it became hard to find a place. Since we were staggered departure times, maybe they should have put different times in different places.
