Review summary

The ship was beautiful and well maintained.  Food (including desert) was excellent.  Production shows were the best we've seen on any cruise.  We were in B202, mini-suite with window.  Excellent choice for a cold cruise.  Temps ran in the 50s (maybe) during the day, so bring many layers.  Our first day at sea we cruised Hubbard Bay.  The iceburgs were still too thick, so we were unable to get very close to the glacier.  The second day we cruised through the Glacier National Park.  We were able to get very close to the glacier and it was awesome.  The cracking of the ice as it plunged into the water sounded like thunder.  The next day was Skagway.  Beautiful hike out to the cemetary and Lower Ried Falls.  Also hiked around Dewey Lake.  Juneau and Ketchikan were both nice, but we liked Skagway the best.

Loved the window! Could watch all the wildlife and stay toasty warm.

Ship tip

Theater is small, so go early if you want a seat. Food was excellent in both the dining room and the buffet.
