Review summary

As usual, we had a wonderful experience on the Island Princess.  We ran into exceptionally rough seas, but the ship handled it well. The only consequence was that we had to skip a port along the wa, but those things happen and we enjoyed a quiet day on board with great food and entertainment.

Cabin / Stateroom

Although the cabin was fine and comfortable, we will probably upgrade to something larger in the future. Also, we will never again book a room located directly under the pool. That location provided us an automatic 5 a. m. wake up call daily as the crew prepared the area for the day.

Ship tip

There are plenty of places to sit and unwind throughout the ship. Note the comment about a room under the pool.
