Great Cruise!

Sail Date: July 06, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were impressed with the size of the ship. The pools were great! There are enough hot tubs so they weren't too crowded.

Pros: Beautiful mountains/very scenic

Cons: Evening entertainment was lacking.

Recommends Island Princess? Yes!

We felt that the "house band" was not the best.
Service and Staff
The Princess staff was a pleasure to work with. They interacted with us and each other so that we felt they were happy to be there.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The buffet was really well run and easy to use. They had tons of options.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were upgraded to a cabin with a balcony and that was wonderful!
Skagway, Alaska
The town has many historic buildings that are fun to see.
Ketchikan, Alaska
The shops are interesting.
Juneau, Alaska
The visitor's center lets you get really close to the glacier.
Don't Miss: Take a guided hike.
