Review summary

As our first cruise, we were very impressed. We so enjoyed our balcony room - there was so much to see. The wait staff was wonderful, both in our room and the dining room. Everyone on board was so helpful when we had questions.

I was blown away by the amount of choices, the presentation of the dinners, and the quality of the food. The portions were just right!

Entertainment

I was disappointed in the shopping show. I expected them to talk about what was available in each port, where to find original AK art, etc., but it was just one big advertisement for the jewelery stores.

Service and Staff

How could they have been better? They responded quickly to our every want or need. Our waiters in the dining room were excellent, very personable.

The ship was VERY clean and beautifully decorated - it was hard to tell if we were on a ship or in a five-star hotel!

We had a perfect location close to the elevator (helped me keep from getting lost!). It was beautiful, and very clean.

Enjoyed just walking around the town. We went to the lumberjack show, it was entertaining.

Don't Miss: The gentleman who had the rescued birds - very interesting and was able to see an eagle, a red-tailed hawk, and a screach owl up close.
