I would recommend people used to sailing on bigger boats that don't get motion sickness go on this cruise. Those are smokers where smoke doesn't bother as the casino has 1 spot but people smoked all throughout and it will give you a migraine if you're sensitive to that.

We were so disappointed with the shape of the ship, lack of employees and food. As avid cruisers, we decided RCL is in decline and hesitate to book an RCL cruise

I had a really great time.on this ship. I would absolutely sail on Independence again.

We loved it we are on our way to planning our next cruise and booking it in May for our anniversary in August we can't wait!

This was an average cruise, but the service and food were great! My first cruise on a Freedom class ship which really doesn’t compare to the larger ships, and it shouldn’t. For a first time cruiser this would be great and the crowd size was very manageable.

Overall fantastic experience! We really enjoyed the entertainment. Big highlights were the Ice Show, Grease, and the magician. The laser tag and escape room were must-do and the promenade shows in the evening were so much fun. The ship was incredibly clean and the staff was top-notch!

A Royal Caribbean cruise is a great was to vacation.

This was my first cruise. There was so much of EVERYTHING, it was overwhelming. Now that I have processed, I am hoping for another longer cruise in the future!

The cruise was memorable, everyone had so much fun. We will be planning another one very soon. One recommendation is to have more over the counter options for medication. Benadryl was something my family needed for my daughter that was not available. Overall the trip was fantastic we would recommend Royal and this ship to all our family and friends.

Very disappointing cruise and shore excursion. Will probably book independent excursions in April when we cruise next.

Good cruise with a couple of ideas how to improve it.

We had a great time. I would recommend to actually get an excursion from the ship.. we went outside and literally went on a taxi ride for 3 hours and brought back.. waste of money

Independence of the Seas is one of my favorite ships for small kids. There's still lots to do, but I don't feel like I'm paying for a bunch of extra features that I don't get to enjoy because I have small kids like I do on the larger ships.

A wonderful cruise. No complaints really. All the crew I met were so friendly and so were the passengers!

It was a great first time cruise. Not sure if I’d do it again anytime soon. But glad we went and got to see Jamaica and the Bahamas. Also, I don’t recommend going into Miami. I had very important items stolen out of our locked rental car and apparently that happens often. Very unfortunate.

It was my first cruise. Enjoyed it a lot. Would love to repeat.
