Review summary

The cruise was memorable, everyone had so much fun. We will be planning another one very soon. One recommendation is to have more over the counter options for medication. Benadryl was something my family needed for my daughter that was not available. Overall the trip was fantastic we would recommend Royal and this ship to all our family and friends.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Something for everyone. Exceeded our expectations. Our favorite was the steak option in the buffet and the chocolate cookie. The entire food operation was flawless the dishes were constantly being refilled. Would recommend adding additional machines for soda refills on other floors.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed a lot of pool time appreciated there was more than 1 pool to choose from. Enjoyed the spa. The fitness center was clean with a nice view.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent! We saw Grease and went to the ice show and throughly enjoyed them both. The music by the pool was a nice variety. The belly flop competition was entertaining

Children's Programs

My 6 year old did not attend.

Service and Staff

Our room steward Wil was fantastic! My daughter loved the towel animals. He ensured we had enough of everything we needed. We are grateful for his attention to detail. Peter and team were also great! They were professional they remembered some of our favorites which made us feel like we were the only people being taken care of by them. Thanks Peter and Wil and team!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, I saw several people cleaning but they were never in the way. I liked that they were trying to keep the pool deck as dry as possible.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was great! Impressed at how quickly they were able to turn our room around. The size was exactly what we expected.

Ship tip

Take the time to explore the entire ship! There is so much to see.

No excursion just stayed here for the cruise

Falmouth, Jamaica

Our family was nervous about this port given the security concerns. Turned out to be fantastic and felt safe the entire time. The excursion was to the beach. Arrival there and back was quick and easy. The port was beautiful we loved the music and dancing. The variety of shops was also great. We were left wanting to visit again soon.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

The weather did not allow.

Disembarkation

Glad you had a wonderful trip. Make sure you pack your own medication’s and anything else you think you may need.

Glad you enjoyed. We pack a little of every medication I can think of when we go. Much easier to use medication you are familiar with
