Review summary

We were originally scheduled to Labadee, Haiti, however with the unrest there we added Coco Cay and Nassau. We enjoy the extra port, but would have enjoyed the original extra day sailing. Would definitely do this again and are already looking for our Mediterranean NCL adventure Jue 2025.

Embarkation

So easy and so many staffers helping on where to go.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Windjammers was very crowded but the food tasted excellent with a large variety. Jason and Wulan were amazing in our Main Dining 5. Alini is a sweetheart and remembers everyone’s name and what they drink in the Playmakers Bar.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice skating and cloggers were very entertaining. Grease was amazing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Roy, 6248 Room steward was awesome. So pleasant and always attentive. Love Alina at Playmakers, Jason and Wulan at Main Dining 5.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Balcony railing window could have used a hood cleaning but other than that we never saw anything but a clean ship.

Ship tip

For my next cruise, I am going to study the deck layout and know where the venues/bars are at and in relation to the front or aft of the ship. I would also recommend selecting a room close to the elevators

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Transportation located right outside of the ship mainly because it was the cruise line’s port.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Too long of a walk to get off the ship to transportation. Nassau proper was dirty and hounded by sales people.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Went smooth. Did not select baggage assistance and that went just fine.

kholmes6262, we stayed at https://www.waldorftowersmiami.com/. It was about a 10–15-minute Lyft/Uber ride to port terminal. If we were to do it again, we would stay nearer the port.

We are sailing Jun 10 and are staying in a hotel a couple days prior. Would love beach access and a shuttle to Port, also to keep the cost down. Any suggestions? Thank you!
