First Time Forced to Call Security

We booked this cruise last minute (so we were very limited in our options) and it is our 3rd time with RCCL (23 cruises total) and our first cruise in 39 months. Let's get the issue that RCCL refused to address out of the way first. We were on deck 8, on the first night of our cruise we were awakened by noise (yelling, banging on doors/walls, etc) after midnight. We wrote it off (bad idea) as first night excitement. Night 2, we were awakened again at 1:30am. My wife called Security, they showed up at our door and spoke to me while the officer had his body cam on (who knew they had such a thing!?), he said they would take care of it. An hour later more noise (we should have called Security again). Mind you, I put in ear plugs for the first time on a cruise but still heard the nonsense. The following morning, we went to Guest Services, and followed-up and we were told that they would send someone to remind them (evidently a cabin with an adult and 3 teenagers) to be quiet. They also told us they had other complaints as late as 3:30am. We didn't ask for another cabin because we were told the ship was sold out. Night 3, more noise after 1am that woke us up, but it stopped quickly. Night 4, it was a circus! The noise started at 11:20pm (we didn't call, which again was a big mistake), but at 1:10am it was so loud it sounded like they were inside our cabin! My wife called Security again, I was tired of waiting for Security to do their job, so I opened the door and told them to shut up. Security arrived at our door a few minutes later and we were asked not to engage them...I guess just let them screw up my overpriced vacation?! Finally, at 1:30am, we were offered another cabin - - 4 hours before we were getting up?! IF THERE WERE OTHER CABINS AVAILABLE, WHY WEREN'T THEY OFFERED??? We declined because of the late hour and needed some rest because we had a 450 miles drive home on Friday. My wife asked the Security Rep why they don't pay attention to the cameras and do something on their own? We paid $2300+, for an interior guaranteed stateroom because that was all that was available for this 4 night cruise. (More than we have paid per person per night for much nicer accommodations and ships in the past.) Included this info in my review from RCCL, nothing heard from them. No biggie, I prefer Celebrity or NCL anyway. .
