Our experience in the main dining room was great! Food was delicious and the service was great! We also ate at Chops one night which was excellent!

The pools were packed so I didn’t enjoy that as I normally do.

Entertainment

The ice show was awesome! Loved it and the play Grease was spot on! There was a slight technical glitch but the audience seemed patient enough and things quickly resumed. Other musicians around the ship were very enjoyable.

I appreciate the hard work and service the crew provides. Everyone we interacted with were very helpful and friendly! I only heard the cruise director once over the intercom, never saw her which I thought was odd, usually I have seen or heard them constantly while cruising.

We chose an interior cabin to keep costs down, we were pleasantly surprised, there was enough space and it was comfortable. But I wouldn’t want to do an interior cabin on a longer cruise.

We carried our bags so we could get off quickly, we live local and I was able to get home, unpack and was at work by 9:15 so yes I was pleased with the ease of getting off ship.

We sailed on Independence of the Seas in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed her. I’m happy to hear her sister ship is still as pleasant.
