Review summary

We went to celebrate 40th bday we got a great trip tons of food many great memories and had tons of fun. Adults families couple all got along.

Embarkation

It was so easy - so many staff members at the terminal ushering you through. It was a long long walk in the terminal to the main room lol but other than that easy peasy. It was crowed as it’s a high traffic terminal. Staff friendly and helpful and we waited maybe 30 min before boarding.

I have to say for being a buffet it was a good treat. We ate breakfast everyone morning. Hit or kiss for lunch if we were I. Port or not. But great options for everyone. My only grip is that u have to go to the bar for fresh squeezed juices and I didn’t know that till the last day of the cruise ☹️

The staff was best part of this experience. The food was great as well. It’s just dining - if you want more go to the specialty restaurants- but the staff do their upmost best to make you happy. And they had many gluten free options!

Sorrento's Pizza

Fantastic! Loved the pizza they had gluten free!! Which was great and always quick and yummy. Desserts always Available!!

Schooner Bar

Drinks were average (we ordered lemonade and vodka) but the service was great almost no wait. Entertainment was banging!!

Cannot say enough about the staff. The housekeeper for our room was Fanta he was from 🇺🇦 Ukraine and he was such a please and made our cruise the most memorable!

Spacious balcony! I believe it was 9th floor mid ship. No real rocking which was nice. It was a Royal up bid we won from a stateroom. Plenty of space for 2 people. Pull out couch for a third if needed or 2 small children. Shower and bathroom is tiny. Everything is metal lol

Ship tip

When you get in the shop roam find your bearings so you don’t feel so lost the whole trip

Didn’t seem super safe coming off the port - the road was so congested right at the entrance to the port with all kinds of vendors and random people. Once you get past that it was nice. The state market they really push sales…

The only reason why it’s 3 stars is because we almost missed our flights - there was someone with a warrant the ship hiding and it took forever to get this man off so we can disembark lol after that it was smooth sailing haha
