Review summary

Overall the cruise was ok. Nassau was terrible with 5 ships in port it was extremely crowded. Add the panhandlers in the mix…we were back on the ship within two hours. Coco Cay was phenomenal! Definitely a reason to keep sailing with Royal. Food…awful…terrible! We lived in pizza at Sorentos for three days.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was Hospital food at best! Never hot and not great taste wise. This holds true for both windjammer and main dining room. Certainly not the quality it used to be.

Agree not a fan of Nassau. We stopped getting of the ship there and enjoy the ship.

Interesting. We have always had good food. CoCo Cay sucks! Beds typically are pretty good.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. When there are so many ships at a port of call, it’s very frustrating. Glad you still managed to enjoy some of your cruise.

Nassau is the flagship for many Cruise companies this is why they go there as well. I've been there quite a few times, took excursions through the ship but when we took Royal on Grandeur of the Seas we just walked around. The people that work in Nassau always want tours to buy things because they're making a living. You don't have to buy anything but it's true they do try to get people to buy. We did go into the stores and looked around and it was fine it was just a lot of fun. You make your vacation the way you want to.
