Review summary

Fantastic first cruise! Enjoyable for the adults and our 10 year-old. Will be cruising with Royal Caribbean again soon!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. Check-in was 1030am, they started calling suite guests, key, pinnacle and diamond at 11am.m. We were on the ship by 11:10am!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good. MDR some items were bland and the Windjammer had the same items daily.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Our daughter enjoyed the water slides, but did have about a 20 minute wait each time she went down one. We enjoyed laying by the pool, was a little crowded at times.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ice skating show is a must see! Our 11 year-old really liked it!

Children's Programs

Didn’t participate in them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff was very friendly and helpful. Never once did we encounter anyone who wasn’t smiling and willing to assist us if needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
High touch surfaces were being cleaned frequently. Our room was always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was very clean, a little dated, but that was to be expected with the age of the ship. We had 2 adults and 1 child in our cabin, it was “cozy”. The balcony was well worth it and made our cabin feel that much larger.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
No excursions, but from our hotel at the Hampton we could see the port!

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
No excursions, but we did enjoy a horse and carriage ride around the island. It wasn’t too pricey and our guide, Maurice, was excellent at explaining the islands history!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
No excursions, but we enjoyed our morning at Chill Island. There was some jellyfish at Chill Island, so we went to Harbor Beach for the afternoon. It was quieter, but very relaxing.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Lines were wrapped around the ship on deck 4, inside and out. It took about 60 minutes to get off the ship, but clearing customs in the terminal was a breeze!
