Review summary

It was a great getaway to relax and reset. After a very stressful year, we needed a little break & that was exactly what we got!

Embarkation

We had The Key and let me say boarding was amazing! We literally breezed through in less than 10 minutes we were onboard and ready to have fun.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food in the MDR was exactly as you would expect, a nicer upscale restaurant fare. We had reservations at Giovanni’s on our last night and were very excited to be there again. Sadly the service was not where it needed to be. We had friends who were still waiting for their meals an hour & a half in. There should be no reason for this. We had to ask for everything. I know they are still understaffed on all ships but if you know this then make adjustments & don’t take as many reservations as you normally would. The Food did not disappoint!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
This was a kick back & relax cruise so no belly flop competitions nor scavenger hunts for us; so we really can’t rate this.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Grease was good, a bit long & surprisingly no intermission.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was awesome! Took great care of us. We had to go to guest services a couple of times with questions but they we answered promptly & courteously. All in all the staff was outstanding.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
While we love Indy and we know she received some updates back in 2018, she is starting to show her age in places. But overall she’s a great ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had a Jr Suite & were quite satisfied with everything. Loved the walk in closet! Plenty of storage everywhere.

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

3 out of 5
As someone with mobility issues there are not enough walkways! There were 2 ships there that day 7 everything was extremely crowded in our opinion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again we had The Key so we had breakfast in the MDR then were pointed to a crew member with a Key paddle and he escorted us right down to the baggage claim area and off we went. Took maybe 10 minutes in total and we were at our car!
