We really enjoyed ourselves so much that we already booked our next cruise, on the Wonder, for our 25th Anniversary :)
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had as much done as possible, before hand, on the app; made embarkation a breeze.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining was ok, Chop House was a little better, Giovanni's Table was awesome!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Trivia was fun, and so was the 80's party on the Promenade. We expected a full ship, so the pools were a little crowded, but if you get up early, there were no problem getting good seats.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The headliner, Scotty Cavanaugh was awesome! We enjoyed Greece as well.
Children's Programs
No kids this time.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward Raphie was outstanding. Always greeting us, opening the cabin door for us; little things that made it more enjoyable. Servers in the main dining and the specialty restaurants were also outstanding!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Going in we knew this was an older ship, some wear, and tear, especially with the chairs, in the Windjammer; not a big deal at all. Elevators sometimes had a lot of people waiting; we did take the stairs a lot.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This was our first vacation, in a very long time, without kids, so this cabin was perfect. Plenty of room for the both of us.
Ship tip
Research Research Research! We knew what was available on the ship, so we could plan accordingly, not all ships are the same. Be proactive when doing check-in and reservations. Before we boarded, we had all safety checks done, all we needed to do, once on board, was visit the muster station; took 2 minutes. Also, as soon as you get on, take care of all reservations, for shows, restaurants, etc. You’ll have no problem getting the times you want.
Awesome! We did the Coco Beach Club. The service was great; always had a drink in hand.
We were one of the first to get off the ship, so we were able to get a lounge bed right next to bar.
The food was good, only one issue was the lobster, my wife ordered, was not the best.
