Review summary

We are cruisers and Royal takes good care of us. I'll be glad when this mask/pre-travel testing madness ends. Have a great time, the Independence of the Seas is a great ship for the smaller class.

We left it up to the cruise line to pick us "the best room" in the same class (exterior balcony). We won't make that mistake again. They chose probably the smallest room with no couch. Probably because it has a door for an adjoining room. We didn't need an adjoining room but, would have liked a couch. That is really my only complaint. The cruise was a short one (hence my review title).
