Cruise was ok, we enjoyed ourselves, but could've been better.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Excellent! it was very quick and efficient.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
MDR food was good and the service was great. Buffet was also good. I was disappointed there was no "Lobster & Shrimp" night, but I heard that is for cruises 5 days or more.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I guess they we're ok. We did not get in the pool, hot tubs, etc.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment around the ship was good. The piano guy, the house band (which also doubled as the jazz band) rocked. The stage show "Grease" was subpar as we didn't get the show, only the songs. The headliner singer, Tenor Darel J. Williams was great. My only complaint was there was NO DJ on board. As a professional DJ myself, I look forward to connecting and listening to fellow DJs. So that was a big disappointment for me.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The majority of the staff we're pleasant. I did have one interaction with the staff in the watch store that left me disappointed.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The layout was great and staff was always cleaning and disinfecting. I especially enjoyed that the casino and playmakers was right next door.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was a little small, but comfortable. Great for sleeping, however, the beds we're HORRIBLE. Hard and uncomfortable. We did not get a good night sleep the entire cruise. Our cabin steward was great
Ship tip
1 - Bring yourself a 1 or 2 inch bed topper, that would make your sleep much better.
Had a great time laying out and snorkeling. The food was great, better than I expected. I wanted to do the waterslide excursion, but it was sold out. However, I'm glad I did not waste my money. People we're complaining all over about how long the lines we're to ride/slide. Some only got on once. We we're supposed to be the only ship in port, but the Allure also came because they we're denied at every other port they we're scheduled to hit. So it was crowded.
