Review summary

Overall, not a bad ship. We were challenged with some of the COVID rules and regulations as they were either not equally enforced or didn't seem to make sense - i.e., we could walk freely on the Deck 5 Promenade but our children could not SIT in chairs on the same Promenade. Seemed weird. There were limited activities for the children but we made up for that. Missing Coco Cay was hard since we were really looking forward to it. In general things seemed to be aimed at a slightly older crowd. Oh and can we please, finally, get rid of smoking on the ship??

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy. Hardest part was waiting 45 minutes for the children to get their COVID test result.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was alright. Biggest issue was much of the food in the main dining room was super bland. We enjoyed Windjammer and did not experience the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the slides, the pool and hot tub, the fitness center, as well as the childcare area for our children

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the ice show and Grease the musical!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Having help with the children was the BEST!! Staff was out of this world great with out children.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The size of this room was absolutely amazing. The only weird things were a pole in the middle of the room and the part of the balcony obscured with beams. Overall though we really liked the room, the size of it, and its location.

Ship tip

This ship tends to gear to an older crowd. That made a difference for us as we were seeking a more lively group. There are limited activities for young people.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas Did not visit port

Ship was not able to dock which was upsetting since we were really looking forward to this port

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Without a formal excursion this is a difficult port to visit. There was an ungodly long walk from the ship to the shore with the entire area under construction. Nassau itself was pretty rough and we did not have a lot of time to go anywhere else.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was quick and easy. No issues at all. Hardest part was getting passports and birth certificates ready for customs.
