The last 2 cruises we've taken with Royal Caribbean have been really bad for that. The company no longer seem to care. Not the great cruise company they once were.

Some ships do dat after so long of not being there you will lose your chair, but I’ve never seen it be enforced and it should be. If you haven’t been using the chair for an hour someone should be able to take whatever is on it off and use it,
