Review summary

The dining experience was not what I wanted. I ate alone every night because the matre o Dee could not find anyone to share a table. I eat alone at home and wish to share a table when I cruise. I was at a table of two alone against a wall or with people who did not speak English. I do not have that problem on Princess or Celebrity

So sorry that you had to eat alone. This was my biggest fear when I booked my cruise. Luckily, my family offered to pay so they could go with me, as I’m still pretty young. I would be more than happy to join you on your next cruise, Miss Sylvie! Just say the word!

Sorry you had to eat alone, we always pick the 5:30 seating so we have a table with the same people every night. It is nice to get to know them and hear about each other’s day.

If you pick my time seating that’s a possibility. If you pick a set time they put you at a designated table with others. Our last cruise was on the Freedom, group of 4 and we sat at a table of 8 with the same two couples at every dinner. We enjoyed getting to know them a bit. Sorry you wound up eating alone but glad you enjoyed the cruise overall.

That’s hard to believe they couldn’t find a table to accommodate one more person. Every cruise we’ve been on we see many large tables that hold 10 or 12 people that don’t know each other. Do you have a friend who would like to go on a cruise? Maybe that would work. Happy cruising 🏝🛳
