Independence of the Seas

3 Night Taste Of Paris & Bruges (Southampton Roundtrip)

Sail date: August 25, 2018

Ship: Independence of the Seas

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Review summary

Felt that the ship was overcrowded but maybe because it was a bank holiday. More geared up to suit families and groups than couples. Prices were expensive.

The quality of the food was very good but on w occasions we were unable to find a seat in the Windjammer buffet

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Theatre and ice skating shows were excellent. Didn’t use anything else

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very spacious but the decor was very old fashioned and tired : 1970/80s style

Ship tip

Don’t book when it’s a bank holiday. Also, bear in mind that this is obviously a family / group oriented ship
