Review summary

Expected a more impressive ship. didn't like that kids pool area was as separated from the adult pool area.

Wish kids club didn't have the two hour closure in the middle of the day. (rotate staff, where someone can be there at all times.)

We were on your private island of Labadi, why should we have to pay to use slide and kids are ocean float areas.

be prepared to babysit kids at pool area., won't be able to do it from the adult pool. Gotta pay to entertain kids in Labadii.

Hi Jo. We are going on the cruise before yours, it will be our 6th cruise on the Indy. I spend every year wishing my life away by counting down days to our next sail away. We have always had a wonderful time on this ship and know you will too. The staff are fantastic, although how they cope with some of the complainers I will never know. As for the weather we went through four days of storms on our first cruise and still had a great time. What could be better than having as much food and drink as you could possibly want, someone to look after your cabin, make your bed and clean up, time to sit in the sun with a cocktail in your hand. As I have said before I feel incredibly lucky to be able to go on such wonderful holidays, perhaps the whingers need to turn on the TV news and remind themselves how many people in the world live. Carry on driving your daughter mad.

I really just don't understand some people's attitudes - it's as if they go on an amazing trip looking for something to gripe about! I'm as giddy as a kipper over my cruise (to the extent that I'm driving my 13 year old daughter mad!) I'm counting the days (169!) & wishing my life away & I'm POSITIVE I'm going to have a fantastic time. I could understand if someone had a major complaint but to whinge about the lack of 24/7 babysitting, pools being too far apart & lack of compensation for bad weather conditions (previous rant!) seems pretty lame to me - & how this makes it not an 'impressive ship' is beyond my comprehension! One thing I have noticed is that these people who write negative reviews giving such lame reasons never seem to re-comment to fight their corner - I think maybe they're very unhappy opinionated people who don't care at all for the opinions of us happy folk!

I'm not crazy about kids in the adult pools - but you are right, if they are in the kids pool, parents should be there watching after them.

Why not spend the two hours eating lunch together, or playing mini golf or table tennis. Plenty to do as a family. Can't understand why people don't enjoy spending time with their children on holiday, they grow up very quickly and then there will be plenty of time for adult only holidays.

You took the words out of my mouth canalview! Such a shame they've had to move their carcasses to the kids pool for the 2 hours a day they've had to look after their OWN kids! xx
