Review summary

Cruise was not what we had come to expect from "Royal". Service was incredibly subpar, housekeeping abysmal, ports were cancelled, hassled by porter, and drink package was a complete waste of money since there were approximately 2 bar tenders for every 30 guests waiting in line to buy a drink. "All you can drink" should really by titled "All you can wait". Even the shore excursions (at the port that wasn't canceled) couldn't keep to a schedule. Embarking and disembarking was also a nightmare. Only positive experience was the dining room staff.

Cabin would have been nice, had housekeeping actually kept a regular schedule. Housekeeper did not clean bathroom, replenish soap/shampoo, clean room, empty trash, etc.

I cruised Indy last month and our disembarkment was terrible also. 😕

For the record, its not supposed to be a "All you can drink package"! Its a pre-paid drinks package to save hassle & perhaps some money, and being able to enjoy your cruise without having to worry about the cost per drink. Whilst the package is unlimited, its not exactly advertised as a "All you can drink package"!

Yikes. Thanks for the review - nothing I'd want to spend money on.

I have a client that just went on this ship this past week. She said it was a wonderful experience other than high winds. missing one port and understood why it had been cancelled. There was a medical emergency and it caused problems, but said they truly enjoyed themselves.

Wow, Royal is really getting slammed from this cruise. You can't all be wrong. To bad, Indy was one of my favorite ships, staff used to be outstanding.
