Review summary

The cruise was good.  I feel like they nickel and dime you for everything.  I was very upset with Vacation Outlet.  I was suppose to get an onboard credit of $100.00 from Royal Carribean, and they said Royal Carribean would not give it to me.  I spoke with Royal Carribean personnel while on cruise at guest services and they said that was vacation outlet who should give it to me.  Very disturbing.  The women who cleaned our room - Wonderful - Our waiters at dinner - Wonderful

That is really surprising. I have never heard of having to activate an obc. I have seen the rebates after cruise from some OTA's.

Use Costco. Great prices and always follows through.

It will be on your account within 24 hrs.

No. They will take care of it providing they said you will get it.

Do you have to activate onboard credit somewhere online if it's from Royal Caribbean,?

bluemoon420    8 years ago

Yes, I got one from cruise only, one from rc. They both had to be activated for cruise.

Fyi...Cruises Only doesn't give obc.....you will get credit on credit card after you get back from the cruise and complete a form on line and e mail them cop of your folio.

We were told by the people we booked thru that you had to go a link on royal Caribbean site to activate the on-board credit. Similar to doing a rebate. The rc on-board now shows up. Still waiting on the other on-board credit from cruises only.

Next time, book a cruise yourself on RC website. It is so easy and you will save the trouble
