Review summary
Our first cruise was this past March on the Majesty of the Seas. MoS is an older, smaller ship, but the service and the food set a high standard; a standard that unfortunately the Independence of the Seas was not able to meet. The IoS seems to have to be too large for its own good. Although our dinner service staff (Jerome and Alejandro) were excellent, the food at every venue could not compare to the MoS. My wife resorted to eating her protein bars by day 4 of this 5 day cruise. But the cruise director was great, the shows were outstanding, and the ship itself has plenty to do...but boy, was it crowded.

Ship tip
The two (2) lead dancers on the ship offer private dance lessons....$50.00 for 45 minutes. They are truly spectacular dancers, and the young lady in the couple is extraordinary. Well worth the $50.00. I wish I could remember their names.
