There’s no shortage of action-packed activities on Independence of the Seas. From a glow-in-the-dark laser tag showdown to a race on the dueling waterslides, passengers can satisfy their need for adventure all day long, while cruisers looking to relax can visit the ship’s full-service spa for some much-needed pampering or soak in one of 6 whirlpools, and retail therapy is always available in one of the many boutiques.
After dark, cruisers can experience the ship’s active nightlife, dancing to live Latin music at Boleros or finding a new favorite wine at Vintages, the ship’s exclusive wine bar. Passengers who prefer more structured entertainment should be sure to catch Broadway at Sea’s production of Grease, which boasts a live orchestra. Children ages 3 to 11 can enjoy their own unique cruise experience with Royal Caribbean’s award-winning Adventure Ocean program, and the ship also offers a nursery for cruisers as young as 6 months.
