We always give extra tips $$ as what we give to the cruise line gets split by many folks besides the room stewards. We bring extra $$ for the wait staff too. They work tirelessly on board for low pay. Sorry you felt pressured. Thank you for all your comments!

I have been on six Royal cruises and have Never ask for a tip. State Room attendant would leave an envelope on our desk, which I have Always left a tip because of excellent service!!!!
