It’s going to be difficult to take a cruise other than Icon of the Seas. Everything is so organized, with regard to crowd control. There are so many activities and shows to do and see. The ship is beautiful. They’ve created a small Central Park in the middle of the ship that is outside with plenty of shops and restaurants. The elevators are amazing! There are large keypads outside of the elevators for you to select your desired floor. It then gives you the elevator to take. No crowds or long waits! Aside from the Windjammer, we loved everything about the ship.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Aside from 2 specialty restaurants, we dined in the main dining room. We adored our waiters. The food was high quality and delicious. Our 1 complaint was the buffet in the Windjammer. For breakfast, it was impossible to find seating for even 2 people. We opted to go to the main dining room or the many other small restaurants around the ship.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The main pools were a bit crowed but search for the others in less conspicuous areas. There are plenty of hot tubs to enjoy. Book appointments for activities such as the Crowes Nest ( a mini walk at the edge of the ship & short zip line) surfing the wave, rock climbing etc., There is a full fitness gym that was never crowed. One disappointment was the steam room that was not working.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We saw an amazing ice skating show and aqua action show. A must see. The shows are for free but you must reserve seats! The Musical venues available are top notch! We went to a Jimi Hendrix tribute. He was amazing! There is so much to do we were unable to go to all the shows. There are plenty of games in the bar & club areas for children and adults such as: Name that tune, higher or lower, bingo etc.,
Children's Programs

Our grandchildren joined the teen club. There is an arcade room, ping pong room and tournaments, volley ball, basketball courts, etc.,
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I do not have any complaints for staff or service. The first day I left my bag in one of the restaurants that had all of my valuables such as cash, credit cards, passports, etc., It was returned to guest services with everything in it!! Please recognize staff members on the survey after your cruise. They work very hard.
Ship Quality

I appreciated the layout of the ship. It was easy to find everything. Aside from the Windjammer buffet area the ship never felt crowed. I found the ship to be very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I booked at the last minute and went with what was left. I chose an Oceanview cabin, as there were no balcony cabins available. I was pleasantly surprised as the room was larger than usual. Maybe the balcony takes space away from the room? We had a full size bathroom with a large shower stall with a built in seat. I was worried about being on the 3rd floor however the ship is humongous, that I felt we were on the 6th floor. My cabin was changed to 3600 (improved location) due to needing my original cabin for staff.

We took an excursion to Spice Mill Beach. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella for $20. Menus are provided for lunch & drinks. You can be served if you’d like. Some of the islanders came around with monkeys. We have great photos & videos with the monkeys. They are friendly and tame. Contrary to rumors, they do not try to steal any items. This was our first visit to St. Kitts and we loved everything about it. There is also a large shopping area close to the ships port.
This is our favorite island. We have been here many times. We took a cab to Megan’s Bay, the most beautiful beach in the world. There is food & drinks to purchase. We rented chairs and umbrellas. My grandchildren went snorkeling. There is plenty of beautiful fish and turtles to see. It might be difficult to rent chairs and umbrellas if you arrive past noon. It has become so popular in the last 10 years. After leaving the bay we did shopping at our favorite shops; jewelry, watches, souvenirs, etc., You can get some great deals!
This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. The first time we rented a cabana in a private area. This time we opted to go to the thrill park with the kids & grandchildren. There is an amazing wave pool with plenty of life guards. I went on a few of the water tube rides and relaxed on a chair with an umbrella. These are included in the excursion, in addition to food. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase. There is transportation to take you to and from if you don’t want to walk. There is also small shops to purchase items.
Easy as pie. Everything is done on the RC app. I requested an early departure due to catching a flight home. I provided the required info and a couple days later I received notice on my app that I was able to disembark at my requested time. There are no crowds because the ship organizes events without crowds and chaos. There were plenty of taxis to take us to our destinations.
