Review summary

So glad we had this experience, but we enjoyed the Oasis & the Quantum more. few notes--love the new elevator technology...bring back Diamonds International...figure out a system to enforce "no saving chairs"...should be able to see "sample" of danish offerings at breakfast so you can then order (need cheese danish, too)

Embarkation

5 out of 5
speedy & flawless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
main dining room was so extra special that we didn't see the need to go anywhere else, but we did go to Giovanni's for our anniversary. It was as good as always

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
activities looked fun & we enjoyed watching--especially young kids conquering the most difficult climbing wall. Hideaway (adults only) was too small, too much loud music, not enough chairs. Oasis was more relaxing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Wizard of OZ was over the top Broadway quality...prize winner in all categories!! Vegas on the Icon--the juggler(Adam Karlo) & ventriloquist (Kevin Johnson)-captivating! MO5AIC is something to see each night (we couldn't of course). Aqua Action & Starburst--unsurpassed excellence! DSB was too loud to stay...deafening. Adult comedy would be OK without the "F" word & other vulgar comments. Someone who uses that does so because they are so unsure of their talent. King's Royal ball was fun!

Children's Programs

no children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Unsurpassed--everyone!!!The Galley staff and waiter Praven & ass't-Gyaneshwaree were top tier!!! Room stewards kept the room looking brand new each day. Other ship personnel always had time for a smile and a kind word . The head horticulturist was fun & a wealth of information. What was missing---the Captain's talk.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
layout & design-beautiful, functional & fun. common areas always clean & well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect!

Ship tip

A great multi-generational experience, but be prepared to be bumped into and pushed aside by unruly, undisciplined children & adults (only 20% of the guests but enough to mention)

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
airport and roadways are nightmares. have done previous excursions--that's enough

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
always enjoy it. Have been many times--actually spent a week here with adult grandchildren & great grands

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
love St. Thomas--hated the short stop--couldn't enjoy it's beauty and culture

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Beautiful & fun

Seems odd that Onboard Activities got 5 stars when you were saying music was too loud and there aren't enough chairs. Good info about the shows.
