the ship was very cleaned and beautiful architecture.

many activities you can participate, such as z line, rock climbing,

aqua show likes a Las vegas show, fast water slide, abyss slide, ice skating show, flow rider and etc.. the room was always  maintained clean.

you can eat  and drink coffee 24 hours.

However, one thing I was very disappointed that my wife find that

a little dead fly on her salad on her lunch and then she immediately lost appetite. their  chef came out and apologized. He made a special food for my wife.  otherwise we have a great time.

Beautiful Ship by mehrha

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This ship is beautiful. Everything open and wide. Loved the open air areas of the ship. The adults only pools are excellent. The entertainment was spectacular. The service was good. The only thing that was a huge disappointment was the dining room. The service was extremely slow and the menu is tired. They should definitely update the menu selections. The stateroom attendants were also very hard to find.

Nice cruise but too many people. by gcherven

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship is full of exciting things to do but there are so many people on board that doing things always includes a large crowd. Our balcony room was very nice and our stateroom attendant was excellent. Food was exceptional especially in the specialty restaurants. Jamie's was our favorite.

Good: Service! The staff was the most amazing thing about the cruise. Each person we came in contact with was friendly, accommodating, and generally wonderful. Logistics (boarding, disembarking, and ports) we're very well executed, resulting in minimal wait times which was wonderful.

Opportunities for improvement:

1. BEDS! The bed was horrible! So hard, I felt I could have slept better on the floor.

2. While we enjoyed the food, it was disappointing that pizza was the only option of substance past 9:30pm. It would be great if there was a late night buffet option.

3. Bars did not have Dr. Pepper. It was only available in the soda machines.  :(

4. Nassau is a port I think could be replaced by something so much better

large overcrowded ship by bjsanders

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My favorite part of trip was spending time with family and making new friends.

If you have cruised on oasis or allure don't spend your money and time on this ship.  This may be a newer ship but it is certainly not any better unless you stay in a sui te  The room service .is not free anymore.  We were on the oasis in July 2016 and room service was still complimentary.  Prices at specialty restaurants have been increased since July 2016 also.   And our flight purchased through royal Caribbean with delta airlines was a disaster.  We will not cruise on Harmony again.

Not quite what I had expected by RNSolloway

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I was quite disappointed in the lack of a fun environment and atmosphere. In addition, I was quite disappointed that everything needed reservations ....  I am certainly use to restaurants needing reservations… However reservations were needed for a comedy show… Reservations were needed for all of the other shows and that was very disappointing to me. I am  likely going to start searching for a new cruise line other than Royal Caribbean.

Harmony of the Seas sailed 4-22-17 -Boardwalk cabin deck 10 by CJAR07

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Pros: 1-Beautiful ship and design; layout was not hard to get around. 2-Boardwalk balcony cabin - NICE; state of the art modern design / Large bed was a bit firm but ok.  My cabin steward always kept cabin clean and always let us know she was available if we needed anything with a warm smile. 3 The food was great; nice variety; and choices; presentation; portions. Nice options for all complimentary dining areas. 4- My time dining at Silk restaurant we requested Rogelio and his assistant Ikadek (tables 711; 710;) because they were excellent. Very prompt, attentive; and offered tips/suggestions to their diners. Johnny Rockets burgers were awesome. 5- All the shows were great: Aqua show; Grease; The Ice show; Columbus the musical; the comedians show-they were very funny. The entertainment throughout was also great; The staff works their butts off to insure you have a nice vac & keep the ship clean. No complaints - 5 stars!! Yes I recommend this ship to everyone I know; and yes I would love to sail same ship again but different itinerary. // Cons:  the Solarium hot tubs are for ADULTS !! not for unattended pre-teens or families with kids! much less babies!!.   Most of the passengers were very nice;  A few need lessons on common sense courtesy and dining room attire.

Royally Consistent by AversaS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Royal has been our go-to cruise line forever. Every time we go on a cruise, it's always fun. Harmony is an amazingly beautiful ship. The staff was courteous, the rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, the shows top-notch.

That said, there are some issues. Some minor, others problematic.

The bionic bar was down a robot the entire length of the cruise.

The rising tide bar had no tide under it. It was simply a bar on an elevator. That was disappointing, since it was a focal point of the Promenade.

The Promenade on this ship, their newest one, was not nearly as nice as the one on Allure. There are small differences, but they were missed. No bakery. No champaign bar or a place to get caviar.

The comedy club was much larger, but with pillars throughout, and an entire section that has to watch the show on a TV because there are no sight lines, it's poorly set up.

The bartenders seemed overwhelmed. They were running around in circles, missing new patrons, and serving others that just arrived while those that had been waiting were bypassed.

The other issue I'm starting to find with RC is the price of their excursions.

Excursions that are handled by 3rd party vendors are one thing. But at Labadee, the price of their zip-line and rollercoaster is insane. The price on board was $170+ a person. That's pure insanity.

Also, at Labadee, the sheer amount of local vendors is enough to throw you off from wanting to stay on the island. "Hello! May I ask you something!" "Hello!" "Hello!" After the 30th person coming up trying to get us to look at their crap, my wife and I had enough. We ended up going back to the ship.

The other thing we noticed was the quality of the dinner service at the main dining room. I don't know if they are trying to persuade people to explore their $$ restaurants, but the food was just blah. The servers (specifically Joven) were also quite dismissive and at times rude.

None of this was enough to ruin our vacation. Royal is still amazing, and will continue to be our go-to cruise line.

The Best yet by hcharles534

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

As a long time cruiser, i was at a WOW by just learning the ship. This has been my best cruise thus far in all aspect but one. I was also glad to see the great steps being taken in the direction of health, the salads on the eight floor in central park was so great i visited five straight days and i congratulate those who brought this into being.

Fabulous Ship by nowackimark

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Harmony of the Seas is a fantastic ship. All of the shows were totally amazing, Make sure you sign up for reservations for each show to assure attendance at the times you want.  Even though there were over 6500 passengers on the ship, because of automation we never waited in line for any length of time. Rooms were good, we did have a Boardwalk Balcony cabin but be aware there is a teen center that opens at 11:00 P.M. that can get a loud. (poor design there as voices can echo in the boardwalk.) They do close the teen center at 1:00 A.M. but it did get a bit loud and we had trouble getting to sleep a few nights.) .

Harmony of the Seas Eastern Carib by Cruiser77978700

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Best part of this cruise was the ship, particularly if you are traveling as a family with children.  There was so much for the children to do they never were bored - rather they had to prioritize their preferences among many great options.  We traveled with a 9 and 12 year old.  The 9 year old loved the kids program, and would get up in the morning and rush us out of bed to check him in.  The 12 year old hung out in the teen program and by the end of the week had exchanged contact info with many teens she met.

We had rough seas the first few days of the trip yet the ship was remarkably comfortable.  Eased my concern about how my kids would handle that aspect of cruising.

Free dining food quality was average.  A little disappointed in the menu in the main dining room.  The "free" menu in the dining room for the suites more resembled the main dining room menus of the past.  The specialty restaurants for us were the best option on the ship and we dined in them 5 of the 7 nights.

My only frustration with this ship is the pool areas.  It was the only time on the cruise it felt like there were way too many people on the boat.  Very difficult to grab a chair unless you treat an at sea day like Black Friday and get to a chair at sunrise.  WAY TOO MANY people in the hot tubs it looked like a crawfish boil.  Was so bad on last sea day my wife and I sat in Central Park and read a book sharing a bottle of white wine.  Still not a bad way to spend a day...

Also worth mentioning for those that value it - The live music on this ship was the worst of all the cruises we have been on.  There was a great jazz band, but the other lounge acts were borderline glorified karaoke.

My kids are already asking to cruise again, and if we do I would target getting on this ship again because it is perfect for families.  If anyone volunteers to watch our kids for a week, my wife and I would likely look for a smaller ship as we prefer that vibe for cruising.
