Review summary

A very nice and solid vacation experience. Too many experiences to list, but it can also be exhausting if you don't take time to relax. Great ship for kids and PDCC was a bonus this cruise. Highly recommend.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We went from the parking lot to ship embarkation in less than 15 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We had most of our meals in the Coastal Kitchen. Service was superb, they really worked hard to please our grandson who was with us. Times we visited the Windjammer, we thought the crowds a bit overwhelming and it seemed there was less selection than in past cruises.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Never get bored on an Oasis class ship. If you do everything, you would leave exhausted.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
IMO the broadway productions are "overkill". We prefer the comedians, musicians, and ice and aqua shows. Main theater productions (as they are expensive), never change, so if you sail a couple times, you've had your fill.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Well managed. Only criticism is they shut down at certain times so you must queue up to get the kiddos back in the program.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Best service we've experienced in Coastal Kitchen. Fantastic staff. Room stewards also were very reliable and responsive.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Harmony is putting on some years and there are areas that need attention. In particular, I believe some of the specialty restaurants need to be swapped out for the newer ones.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This is an aft facing Crown Loft. We won a Royal Up bid from a Grand Suite. Cabin is very comfortable and has two bathrooms which is great. As it was aft facing, the balcony opens to the mini golf course and sports courts and we found it noisy and lacking privacy. We will not book an aft Loft again. The location is not optimum other than being deck 17 and an easy walk to the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen.

Ship tip

Play the international contact scavenger hunt in Schooner bar.

MOBBED. There were at least 7 other ships in port at the same time. We saw the port and immediately returned to the ship.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The nicest cruise private island we've visited

We love the Costal kitchen as well! First experience on our last cruise. As you mentioned, couldn’t say enough good about it. It was absolutely fantastic!!
