Review summary

This was an overall great experience, my only downside was the port visit to Roatan (please see my comments above). The ship was awe inspiring and there was so much to do for all, most of the things that I planned to do, I didn’t because of lack of time or interest once onboard (the zip line was rather short and there were really long and fast ones in Roatan, if you get the nerve up to trust them), we didn’t plan it out right to do the escape room (maybe next time). There were so many food choices and we dabbled into every one that we could. I highly recommend trying this ship out for what it offers (or the sister ships of this class).

Embarkation

Long lines, but they did move pretty quickly to get me and my crew onboard in a timely manner.

Food and Dining

So many choices to choose from, we had zero complaints about any of the food venues we picked.

Onboard Activities

There was something for everyone and the ship was so spacious that we could even find quiet spots to have a little peace and quiet time.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was spacious, my only regret was that I didn’t pick a balcony like my last cruise.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

The town was a little rundown and there was a lot of panhandling there, we were swarmed at the beach by them and they outnumbered the people from the cruise. There were literally 8 of us and a minimum of 10 panhandlers accosting us. Fortunately we got a downpour and I told our driver to take us back to the ship (she tried to take us to all of her friends and families shops so that we could buy stuff and we told her that we just wanted to go to the beach).

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Fabulous port and the excursion to the Mayan ruins was on point! Our tour guide was very personable and friendly, we then went to a private lagoon that had lunch and drinks for us as well as kayaking, swimming, and music. The staff on hand went above and beyond to please us and they were tipped exceptionally well (to include our tour guide).

Cozumel, Mexico

Great port and beach, there was a lot to do and the food was great, I would have taken a picture with the dolphins, but my wife was afraid LOL.
