Review summary

I would definitely go on another cruise, but maybe another cruise line to check out. Maybe a Mediterranean cruise

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Went quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining Room food non de script. Items repeated themselves. Not a lot of gluten free choices. Went to Chops Grill. Excellent food. The buffet was enormous. Lots of choices and gluten free choices. Ate there most of the time

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were too small for the amount of passengers. Kids running amuck, not being supervised. Fitness Center was nice. Went to a couple of classes. Of course at the end of the classes is the proverbial product sell.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Grease was excellent. Other shows were good, too. Musicians were fine. One our favorites was James in the Boot & Bonnet Pub.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was friendly. Yanto, our cabin steward was there every day to take care of our stateroom

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All areas were clean. The ship is very large with a large population

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Roomy, quiet, lots of drawer space

Ship tip

Don’t expect anything great at the Dining Room. Be aware to walk a lot as it is a very large ship.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

Embarked, disembarked, wen home

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Did our own excursion. Rented a cab for $18 for two. Edwin, our driver took around the island telling us of history and points of interest. He was with us as long as we cared to explore. Bought him lunch

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
Not much to do besides taking a 2 hour bus ride to the ruins and have to turn around and ride 2 hours back. We stayed at the “Mall”. Went shopping, ate lunch, hung out at the pool, stopped at the Farmacia.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Again, took a cab to Paradise Bay Beach Club. All inclusive: all the food and drinks. Large floats at the Gulf, They have a pool, but who wants to do that when there is the Gulf?

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Everyone getting off at one even though they’re calling group numbers. Line kept moving. Found bags quickly.

I think you would enjoy a Mediterranean Cruise. They have better ports and have a less crowded feel.
