Far exceeded expectations! This was a very last minute reservation and we had never been on a cruise before, so we really got lucky it happened to be on “Harmony of the Seas,” a larger cruise ship model.

Review summary

For two people who haven’t ever been interested in “cruising,” I can say we would absolutely do it again. In fact, we are planning the date to embark another cruise with our kids and grands sometime in 2024 to either this Caribbean option or the Western Caribbean one offered by Royal Carribean.

We didn’t have our kids with us, but sure wished we would have brought our grands, ages 6 and 8.

We wanted to take all of our wait staff home with us. They were beyond amazing. Our two favorites were Harrish (our ever attentive stateroom attendant) and Maheema (our dining room server, who was was not only on the ball, but a delight to chat with).

Wow! No one would get sick from germs on this ship! We witnessed sooo many people people who were cleaning every inch of the ship, day and night! We’ve stayed in some very luxurious resorts with high marks for cleanliness, but I’m certain this would beat any of them.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were surprised to discover we actually had more room than expected. With the creative arranging of furniture and storage areas, we were comfortable. The huge ocean view window made the room feel larger (we would definitely book a larger room next time).

Organized and efficient— it was fascinating to witness how they were able to get 5,000+ people off the ship in such a short amount of time.
