Review summary

RC needs to either add more infrastructure or better schedule departures and port visits. Overall cruise was very good but we will be taking smaller ships in future. The venue on board could not handle 6000 people at times

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Took just minutes to board. Only negative was parking as another ship had left previous day and parking garage was full

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room (anytime dining) was very good. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner buffet average

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All activities required reservations and too many people had booked every show every night. Travellers shoulld make reservations before travelling.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service. Dining room had to pull staff from other food venues for dinner due to understaffing

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
No complaints. Room steward was excellent and very accomodating

Ship tip

Sail on a smaller ship

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

2 out of 5
Still recovering from hurricane 5 years ago and then from Covid shutdown. Main areas downtown and beachside look like a warzone

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
They have built a number of shops. Ship is too big to dock other side of island where most of downtown shops/restaurant are

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Another RC ship was already there. People were packed in. We went ashore for an hour and returned to ship

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Outstanding. Took 10 minutes to pick up luggage and clear customs

Appreciate your feedback. Bigger isn’t always better. Fortunately, there are choices and we all can find what fits our own needs. Good for you for trying the bigger ship.

I love the bigger Royal ships, especially the Oasis class ships.
