I really had a great time on the trip, totally taken back by the lack of service, this is not the experience I have had with past royal Caribbean cruises, more like a carnival cruise. The ship was beautiful but has issues. Staff can't keep up with cleaning, people making messes faster than they can clean them.
Embarkation

Very crowded, not bad at the ticket counter and security. But very crazy once on the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Main dining room staff was very friendly but there was a lot loss of organization, seating staff can't find your table after following them around the dining room, guests seating at the table that you are supposed to be seated at.
Onboard Activities

Zip line was awesome, the slides were great even at my age. Pools were extremely crowded. Couldn't enjoy them.
People were allowed to put beach towels on prime chairs and never come back and never use the pool, I seen this repeatedly and I just don't understand why they would do it,
Entertainment

Shows were top notch, some of the best I have seen, including Los Vagas Shows I have seen. Very happy with that part of the cruise.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

Room steward was very good, tried very hard to make sure we had everything we needed, waiters in main dining room ran from excellent to just getting the job done. 2 of our waiters were extremely attentive when we were seated in there area, the others not so much.
Ship Quality

Hard to get around a ship that size, some layouts that just didn't make sense, we seen dirty glasses and plates left in the common areas for long periods of time, being a veteran cruiser this totally surprised us, in past cruises we would see staff constantly cleaning and whipping all surfaces, only staff I seen in common areas were vacuuming.
Cabin / Stateroom

Totally enjoyed this room, great view of central park, witch was very quiet, very big shower,
Ship tip
Think long and hard about being on a ship this size. It is a city and has city problems, with over 6000 people you are going to come across jerks and drunks, very hard to get around. The staff and cooks were overwhelmed in my opinion witch you asked for. Been on smaller ships oases class witch is just a little smaller but more manageable,
Thank you for your review. We where on the Harmony in May and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Oasis class ships are basically the same tonage other than the Wonder. Maybe try one of the Voyager class.
Thank you for sharing. Summertime cruises tend to have a lot of families. Children have too much freedom. Hoping this gets somewhat better in the fall.
Appreciate your feedback. Cruising isn’t what it was before Covid. Cruisers tend to be more self centered now since being quarantined. It is as if they have forgotten how to act in public. I don’t understand it either, just seems to be. Glad you managed to enjoy your cruise in spite of all of that.
