We were subject to a cabin search as per policy and found it extremely embarrassing that the women doing the search took out our intimate articles of clothing. And placed them back in such a messy way. I can assure you, we weren’t hiding anything in our bras and underwear.

More often than not, the jacuzzis had dirt and sand in them. The pools were overcrowded, I was unable to enjoy them.

DJs did not play my style of music but that’s okay.

We felt racially profiled as our belongings were ravaged through. We did come on the boat with items that were not allowed, however we turned them in. We later found during our stay that several guests had brought and kept with them, the same items we had taken from our possession. It almost forces one to question why we were subject to the intense searches and not others.

The view was beautiful. However our neighbors were uncomfortably Ill. Every day and night we would hear painful coughing, nose blowing, loud spitting and vomiting. My fiancé and I hated being in our beautiful balcony room because we wanted to be as far away from their sounds and whatever illness they had.
Ship tip
The ship was overcrowded and royal Caribbean did not do enough, in my opinion, to ensure that all those attending the cruise were in healthy condition to travel.
I doubt very much is was racial profiling. You brought stuff on board that were against their rules! Unfortunately, they can't do a whole lot about noisy neighbors.
Racially profiled? Let’s see, you brought illegal items onboard, and surrendered them, yet question why they would then be suspicious you had more you were hiding. Neighbors were sick and somehow Royal could control that? We’ve had our luggage searched, maybe we were racially profiled? I think he was a Latino. Come on. Royals staff is a mix of all races. And lots of people I’m sure sneak things they shouldn’t onboard. Getting caught means you’re not a good sneak lol.
My friends tried to bring a folding travel iron on board, were stopped and asked to remove it. It's routine check, nothing discriminatory to it. It doesn't mean the security will catch 100% of cases.
