Review summary

This cruise was rescheduled from 2020 due to Covid. We all had an amazing time and loved the ship. We had a total of 8 in our party, and tried to avoid the large crowded areas but unfortunately 3 of us do have COVID now. We were told by the Captain this was the first RC ship/sailing that was at full capacity 5700 pax plus 2200 crew. I would recommend avoiding the elevators if possible. They were overcrowded and people would start coughing in them and then touch the buttons.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Our group of 8 entered together with 11:30-12 checkin time. Some yelling and initial confusion about where to go but once inside the terminal everything was smooth and we were onboard within 20 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main Dining room for My Time with a reservation at 6:30 every night. Food was great! Service was excellent with Mukesh and Gede as our waiter and assistant.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do for everyone. Pools were extremely crowded. We only used the pools while we were at port in St. Thomas and St. Kitts. My son basically lived at the Flowrider all week. It’s a beautiful ship with plenty to see and do.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Grease was amazing. Did not see Aqua show but attended the Disco show at Aqua Venue. Temperature Band was awesome but seats were hard to come by in Dazzles. Love and Marriage, comedians, juggler all good.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
First time on Oasis Class and we loved the design. Ship was clean. Some dirty dishes and glasses left in the elevators at times.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had 4 cabins total… 3 balcony ocean view (room steward opened all the balconies up to make one big balcony). My boys were across the hall in a boardwalk balcony. The cabin was nice but very loud u til about 10 pm every night.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

3 out of 5
Shopped and ate lunch at the pier. Spent rest of the day on the ship at the empty pool area.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
This port was not where I remember disembarking at on a previous cruise. It was dirty and smelled like sewer.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Loved Coco Cay. Had an Oasis Lagoon Cabana near the pool. Great place for a home base for the day.

Port Canaveral, Florida

Easy. We did self assist and were off the ship within 10 minutes.
