In comparison to other cruises we've taken, this was ok. Nothing to write home about to be honest. The ship and ship experience was really great but the excursions and stops were a disappointment.

Definitely schedule your dining in advance...the "my time" dining options are not great. Once you get past the need to wait, the food is pretty good. Buffet restaurants are ok but the sit down dining was much better. The drink packages are extremely overpriced but you really dont have a choice so just consider those as part of the cost of the cruise.
Onboard Activities

Fitness center could have had more weight equipment but it's a ship so in fairness it was well equipped for a ship. The pools and decks were nice. I think the solarium was way too hot so it didnt really get much use.

It was odd to see ice shows on a ship but the one the performers themselves created was great. Grease the musical was another great show as well.

The ship was CLEAN...like ridiculously clean. I liked the layout but it was hard to get from stern to aft for some of the places we were headed. It would be nice to see a way to get from A-B through main areas and not have to use the "stateroom hallways".

The room itself was great...super balcony, well sized room, bathroom had hot water and great pressure. All around - thumbs up. The bed was too firm...way too firm...and the pillows were not awesome. Only complaints.
Ship tip
Book your events as soon as you can after you book the trip - dinners, shows, etc. Everything fills up quickly.
Clearly a Royal Caribbean cruise "theme park". Aka...called a stop but really just another way for them to drive the customer to spend more with Royal.
We did experience an excursion however the original one we purchased was apparently canceled which we didnt find out until we were off the ship waiting for them to show up. We went on an excursion which was ok but the overall experience was not great.
I was also on this sailing and your review was pretty accurate but was not a fan of the food in this ship. We have done 10 cruises with RC and this ship has the least likable food!
