Review summary

It is titled bittersweet as we normally travel with my parents and both sons. One of my sons does not want to get vaccinated and he is an adult and able to make his own decisions and I respect that. My parents hadn’t planned to go but my dad passed away 7 weeks ago and he loved to cruise. We took him in spirit.

Embarkation

Lines were so long to get into the terminal but once through was VERY smooth and easy. Having your documents ready is key to moving quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main Dining was great. The staff were very attentive. We ate at Chops and that was good but the best was Jamie’s. It didn’t feel rushed like MDR and the food was magnificent. Sorrentos never disappoints

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Great but the activities were held in such small venues that they couldn’t be enjoyed. We tried to arrive at least an hour before karaoke to be able to see and enjoy. Didn’t get to see Grease due to Covid but they scheduled a couple more shows in the Royal Theatre. The Dubois’ were amazing

Service and Staff

Walked around Charlotte Amalie and Havensight. A lot of stores are closed still

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Would have been able to enjoy more however the weather didn’t cooperate.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Did Carombola Beach Resort on our own. Lovely place but there is no beach attendant. I would not go again.
