We cruise many lines and find the Oasis Class ships the best.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Longish lines but quick enough.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Great food in main dining and cafes! Only ate at the buffet once. Pizza was not very good.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Lots to do on this ship. Knocked them all out on embarkation day when the lines were super short. Zip line and Abyss were the most fun to me. Wife is less adventurous, she enjoyed the waterslides and carousel. We both played mini golf to pass time. Really enjoyed walking/eating in central park.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We went to all of the main shows. Grease and a classical quartet were great. The juggler was comical but lacking.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Great main dining staff and room stewards! We only ate at the buffet once but the staff was very friendly. The cafe employees were less friendly but professional.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Little bit of rust on our balcony but everything else was perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a standard ocean view balcony and would recommend them for their privacy. We had breakfast on the balcony most mornings. No one smoked so that was a relief.
Ship tip
As with most cruises knock out all your "To-Do" items on embarkation day. Most will be settling in and exploring vs. doing stuff.
We made the hike to the John Watling's Distillery. Great pina coladas and other rum drinks. We watched others folks hustle on tours while we sat back and enjoyed our stiff drinks unhurried.
Yikes, Covid did a major number on the shopping. We usually get day passes at the Grand Park Royal but it was a bit too cold for swimming. Highly recommend them. It's all you can drink/eat (bar in the pool), 1 hr of snorkeling (pretty good snorkeling). A huge must is to purchase shots at Senor Frog's. ;)
