Review summary
In all we have taken 2 family cruises on Harmony of the Seas. We usually try different ships each time but wanted to repeat on this ship as we felt it had so much to offer each age group. You will not be disappointed choosing Harmony.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Izumi
Second year trying Izumi and a little disappointed. The dining experience took 2 hrs to complete and a little too slow for a family with young children. Also wait staff forgot some of the extras that were ordered. The actual chef “show” was wonderful and very entertaining. Food was excellent also. Would recommend for lunch rather than dinner.
Coastal Kitchen
The best perk of having a suite level cabin. Fantastic staff and fabulous food from breakfast to dinner.
Chops Grille
Fantastic food , great staff. Definitely book a dinner or lunch here.
Onboard Activities
Promenade Shops
Would always love more choices but staff were always accommodating and maybe a little too eager to make a sale in the jewelry shops, but always respectful.
Casino Royale
Enjoyed this casino. Plenty of machines to play. Only downside is I would love to have it be non- smoking.
Suite Lounge
Having this venue available for drinks or food most of the day and evening is a wonderful benefit of the suite level.

Ship tip
If hesitating about taking a mega-ship I would say give it a try. Harmony of the Seas is a fantastic ship with wonderful staff.
